Almost Human 1.6

Hearts. Some good ideas here, and it looks fantastic, but it moves very slowly and fails to hold viewers attention. The b-story (with Dorian and the decommissioned DRN) doesn’t work quite as well as it should. And when the episode is over, it seems like a storyline took up too way much screentime without giving much reward. 5/10

Magic Bullet. Shoddy editing, with lots of dialogue added clumsily to rewrite many scenes in post-production. It was done really badly so, with a spare hour and a notebook, it would be possible to go back and figure out what was originally supposed to happening in each scene.

The story itself was generic enough, with a few moderately interesting ideas. Cast are good. 4/10

Tim Kelleher. Very good main cast. Otherwise an ordinary futuristic cop show. A lot like Total Recall 2070, which I loved. 7/10
