• A terrific and energetic performance from Dan Butler is one highlight of this very funny episode driven by the sort of dilemma that only pops up in sitcoms.
  
• There are several delightful little moments and running gags that really pay off, and the final scenes are very good indeed.
  
• First appearance of Charlie. Great episode for Del.

Tim Conlon. Pretty solid episode, with an okay story and some very witty lines dotted about the place. 7/10

Caroline In The City # 004

Some funny moments here, but it’s a strange disjointed episode with an unnecessary flashback structure. Presumably added because the episode was held back and shown out of sequence. Lea Thompson and  Malcolm Gets have terrific chemistry in the framing scenes, however. 8/10

Caroline In The City # 003

Another witty episode. Creates a genuine dilemma for Richard and resolves it in clever fashion. Lea Thompson is wonderful as Caroline. So utterly adorable and cute. Also, it looks like she is having a lot of fun. Loved the Howard The Duck reference. 9/10

Caroline In The City # 002

A very simple story generates a lot of comedy gold here because of the great cast and characters. Much as I loved all the scenes where Richard was alone with a sick/high Caroline, I think the episode actually hit high gear when Del showed up and the two guys worked on the strip together. Very funny indeed. Best bit? The high five. 10/10

I would choose CitC, I just loved that show, and adored the characters and the romance. There are some episodes I have seen four/fives times at least. Particular the first two seasons which I watched over and over.

Which is better? Just Shoot Me! or Caroline in the City?
