Seed 2.13

Wow, what a great season ender! Really shakes up the premise/status quo and tests the characters and their bond. And it’s funny. 10/10

Seed 2.12

No major laughs. Instead, we get character growth (Harry in a relationship?!) and story arc development (Rose’s feelings for Harry). 6/10

Seed 2.11

Kaitlyn Leeb. Does a great job of pairing the characters in new ways, and there are many laughs. Ending a bit too on-the-nose. 8/10

Seed 2.10

Good fun. Particularly from Michelle and Zoey, who are a great couple and pretty much my favourite part of season two. 7/10

One of my favourite gags from Seed 2.9

One of my favourite gags from Seed 2.9

Seed 2.9

Benjamin Ayres. Absolutely delightful from start to finish. Good story, very funny. The cast are fantastic (I hope we see Ayres back again) and there are several really clever gags.

When it’s on form, this is one of the best laugh-out-loud shows on TV. 10/10

Seed 2.8

Sugar. This time out there’s aren’t enough laughs to compensate for some silly, and very slight, plotlines. But Amanda Brugel is still loads of fun to watch, however, and the Michelle/Zoey relationship has become one of my favourite things about season two. 5/10

Seed 2.7

Shannon Tweed. Two fairly generic sitcom plots work like gangbusters thanks to cast, pace, killer lines and smart comedy moments. 8/10

Seed 2.6

Porn. Delightful and hilarious from start to finish. Everyone on top form, particularly Amanda Brugel. So funny. 10/10

Seed 2.5

Funny episode with two reliable storylines: pairing characters in new ways, advancing the ongoing romantic story arc. 8/10

Seed 2.4

Very silly story. Only a couple of laughs along the way. 4/10

Seed 2.3

The cast are terrific, and - much as I love the Harry character - I am glad to see him deemphasized somewhat in favour of the ensemble. It’s always cool to see characters sharing screentime who don’t normally do so. 8/10

Seed 2.2

Really clever and funny. There are some killer one-liners here. Confidently turns flips the series’ premise around. And guest star Natalie Krill was hilarious. 9/10

Seed 2.1

Absolutely delighted to see this show back. The cast are marvelous and it always makes me laugh. This premiere is one of their funniest episodes: with good gags and some nicely set-up comedic situations (I particularly loved Harry becoming a stalker, and everything that happened in or near the car). The show’s romantic undercurrent is more obvious, too. A definite plus. 9/10

Seed 1.13

Baby. Nice ending to the first season. Not many gags, but the story arc is brought to a sweet conclusion. Love the twist at the very end. 8/10

Seed 1.12

Strip Club. One of the cleverest episodes, but also one of the preachiest. Some delicious gags, though. Loved the one at the very, very end (the maid from next door on the couch). 8/10

Seed 1.11

Facebook. Typical mix of silliness and good lines. Show has successfully created a large, oddball family unit. 7/10

Seed 1.10

Baba. Typically silly, but it does make me laugh out loud. And I’m a sucker for will they/won’t they? romances. 7/10

Seed 1.9

Lamaze. Typical mix of silly, fast and funny. I think it’s the new Rules Of Engagement. 8/10

Seed 1.7

Lice. Not many laughs this time out. Getting by mostly on the likability of the cast. 5/10
