Final Episode. A Kitty episode, and a great one. Ends many arcs, delivers revelations. But so much more to tell… Shame. 10/10

Gil Bellows. Even without two shocking murders, this is a breathtaking episode. Kane is backed into a corner, with a new character (that we instantly despise) about to take his kingdom away. And despite all that we have seen him do, including some awful things in this episode, we are rooting for him to come out from under this mess. Sanaa Lathan is superb in this episode. But, then, pretty much everyone on the cast is. 10/10

Marin Ireland. Oddly, despite the dark path they are on, this episode highlights a new bond/closeness between Kane and his wife. Something that is really surprising. And lovely to see. All storylines advance, but there are no staggering developments, for a change. But you feel that the chess pieces are being aligned for a big finish. 9/10

Riots. Powerful episode. First one where the hallucinations are truly frightening. And it’s scary seeing the city fall apart, too. The character of Meredith Kane is at her absolute best in this episode, as she takes the reins in the time of crisis. And then, in the closing minutes, the show delivers two completely unexpected twists. Just stunning. 10/10

Debate. First episode with aggressive hallucinations. Nearly every scene. I have a love/hate relationship with Kane’s illness on this show. Sometimes (because the show is so bloody good without it) I wish they would just write it out and forget about it. For instance, in this episode, as good as the mania scenes were, it sometimes feels like they are slowing down the actual stories that we care about.
And speaking of those stories: Some gut-wrenching twists to be had, in more than one storyline, as the focus shifts to characters other than Kane for several pivotal scenes. Show really knows how to punch the viewer. Repeatedly. 10/10

Quite a change to have an episode without shocking developments/twists. This one just ticks along as the new status quo (established over previous weeks) takes hold on the show. New characters, new situations. In some ways it’s very, very different to season one. 8/10

Boss is so good I wish it didn't have the illness storyline. Yet, the illness underscores everything and makes it more meaningful. #dilemma
