Bugs Bunny # 011

All This and Rabbit Stew. Mostly unfunny short. The gag with the buckshot is probably the best one. 4/10

Bugs Bunny # 012

Wabbit Twouble. Some good gags, and a lot of them, occurring at rapid fire pace make for a fun short. The last few minutes (involving the bear) are the best. 8/10

Bugs Bunny # 010

The Heckling Hare. Very funny, indeed. The bit where the duo mirror each other is particularly hilarious. On the downside, it has no real ending (or, to be charitable, a very weak ending) and some of the gags are very closely copied from earlier shorts with Elmer Fudd. 8/10

Bugs Bunny # 009

Hiawatha’s Rabbit Hunt. A weak story and no laughs. I was bothered more by the sluggish pace than by the stereotypical depiction of Native Americans. 3/10

Bugs Bunny # 008

Tortoise Beats Hare. Humour coming from story rather than gags. And since Bugs is unsympathetic, we are more than happy to see him outwitted and beaten. 8/10

Bugs Bunny # 007

Elmer’s Pet Rabbit. Some very good gags here, and a bit of 4th wall breaking. Bugs is pretty much insane and the chemistry between him and Elmer is terrific, as the rabbit torments the poor guy. Fudd is more sympathetic here than in the last picture, and Bugs is kinda a jerk but we still really enjoy watching him torment poor Elmer because there are frequent laughs. 8/10

Bugs Bunny # 006

Patient Porky. Some very amusing ideas in the mix, and a rapid fire pace. Bugs only has a short cameo. 6/10

Bugs Bunny # 005

A Wild Hare. Bugs first official appearance is funny and has many of his trademarks: catchphrase and attitude. The extended death scene is probably the highlight. 7/10
