The Spoils Before Dying 1.6
Chris Mulkey. Magnificent ending to one of the best tv shows of the year. I laughed, and I actually cared how the story would turn out! The more they committed to this insane vision they had, the more I kinda believed in it. If that makes sense. And even as I was laughing or chuckling I was getting more and more invested. Part of the reason for that was Michael Kenneth Williams. Wow. What a performance. Really grew to love Rock Banyon as a TV hero over the last few weeks. And the ending really did him justice. 10/10

Jimmy Fallon, Louis Gossett Jr. Despite a self-indulgent first act this story-driven episode is very enjoyable, and has some solid gags in the second half. Both Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph are hilarious in their scenes and Michael Kenneth Williams is a fantastic leading man. 9/10

Well, that’s my Saturday night TV out of the way. And...
Well, that’s my Saturday night TV out of the way. And great it was. Usually out on a Saturday, so it was a rare and wonderful treat to be home alone in front of the TV for an evening. Out next two weeks for sure, and possibly away the week-end after, so this “line-up” might last til Christmas. Since it’s taken me 7 months to watch 6 episodes of Bosch (!!) 4 months for the last 4 sounds about right :)
