Driven by a pretty simple idea (Dave taking advantage of Jim) but it’s done cleverly and provokes laughs from situations that crop up a lot in sitcoms. It flags a lot in the second half when Dave actually gets on stage and we spend way longer than necessary watching his act. 8/10

Alec Baldwin. Takes one simple idea and wrings quite a lot of solid comedy from it. Nice to see Daniel with his own storyline. 9/10

Steve Buscemi. While it was disappointing to see another dream episode so fast, this one was funnier, smarter, better. 10/10

Lea DeLaria, Chris Rock. A very smart script. Not the funniest, and I disliked the cop out ending, but a smart episode nonetheless. This would have worked just fine as an episode of Louie. 9/10

Larry Pine and Michael Ian Black are both excellent in this funny and touching episode. Feeling a lot of love for this show. “Jim” is such a lovable and funny central character, and when the writers want to go to emotional places… they succeed admirably. 10/10

An old-fashioned, by-the-numbers family sitcom that had me laughing out loud every few minutes, particularly in the second half (as the chaos began to unfold). This is how these shows should be done. I’ve always liked Jim Gaffigan enormously and Ashley Williams seems like a perfect fit for him. 8/10
