Leslie Grossman. Pure sitcom all the way. The Liam storyline was probably the funniest. The revelation concerning Karma’s parents is a surprise, certainly, but it’s perfectly in keeping with the tone of the show and the types of stories it likes to tell. And tells rather well. 9/10

Well, the show is sure committing to this latest feud. That final scene was well-played and rather sad most of the time. 8/10

Faking It 3.2
Light story, driven by yet another Karma/Amy feud. Even the characters don’t think it will last. There is a feeling that this is just filler, until we get to the real stories of the new season. 8/10

Strong start to the new season. Manages to be funny, fill us in on all the developments between seasons and tell a story grounded in character. 9/10

A strong finish to this season finale, with great scenes for Lauren (her speech) and then for Karma and Amy (the goodbye talk in front of the bus). 9/10

Kudos to the show for blatantly revisiting the idea from the pilot and… making it work so well, despite the fact that the show has moved on so much since then. The Farrah/Bruce story is really good, too. Very keen to see how it plays out and how it impacts the (very enjoyable) Amy/Lauren relationship. 9/10

Dilshad Vadsaria. Perfect mixture of silly/funny storylines and quality soap opera plotlines with emotional punch. Witty scripts, amazing cast. 9/10

Faking It 2.12
Great stories, united by the theme of revenge, and a large number of very witty laugh-out-loud moments. The characters are so likeable we can’t help but care about their dilemmas, even if the situations are the staples of sitcomland. In a word: superb! 10/10

Chloe Bridges intro. Good episode giving all the regulars something to do, and keeping the balls of various storylines successfully in the air. This quirky school is as much as character as anyone, and I love the diverse and interesting minor characters. Seeing more of them in future episodes would be a good thing. 9/10

Nicholas Brendon. A big twist (concerning Theo - is he gone now?) and few very emotional scenes, as various arcs come to fruition. Sadly, both the Lauren and Shane stories were predictable. Love the dream sequence twists at the end, however. Clever. 8/10
