Major Crimes 2.16

Michael Nouri, Michael Hyatt. Case-of-the-week with genuinely surprising resolution, and an interesting point to make. I hope we see Nouri’s unsympathetic character again. 8/10
Major Crimes 2.2

Solid crime story, with many great moments of character comedy. I love seeing Provenza take the lead, as he seems to do more and more. Episodes start with him arriving at the crime scene, for instance. Meanwhile, Rios is a terrific new character. Show is really firing on all cylinders at the moment. 10/10

The first season of Major Crimes got off to a shaky start, with a lot of needless character conflict. Which appears (wisely) to have been dropped mid-season. Final episode was top notch. It took them far too long to reach that height, but since I love these characters I was willing to wait. Roll on Season Two!
Major Crimes 1.10

Ramón Franco. Good race-against-time story, with a type of killer unusual for this show and a way of telling the story that is different, also. Plus a satisfying resolution to the season-long story arc. 10/10
