11:00 The Hardy Boys
12:00 Acapulco Heat
01:00 Superman

Women's Murder Club. Episode 2. The case is pedestrian, the 'friendship'-scenes are a tad clumsy, but Angie Harmon is hot so I'll watch another episode.

The Hardy Boys. Season 3, Episode 2. Superb conclusion to the two-parter about Joe tracking his fiancé's killer. There is a lot to like in this one, but the conclusion is the big highlight for me. Joe's trap is sprung and police close in on the bad-guy (with Frank appearing briefly for some of the pysical action). And Joe? Joe doesn't even bother to show up for the arrest. He's lost interest in his vengeance quest. It won't bring her back. When Frank shows up to tell him the news, Joe's not all that bothered. And it's a great ending to a great two-hour story.

Acapulco HEAT. Episode 4. Low production values, and a basic plot, make for a weak episode of HEAT team adventures. Four of the team are sent to investigate radiation poisonings at an idyllic resort. They investigate, find the source, engage in gun battles, re-group, and - eventually - defeat the bad guys. Nothing special.

Superman. Season 2, Episode 18. A cop is given a super-strong mechanical suit as part of a pilot programme, but something goes wrong and he eventually turns into a dangerous foe for Superman. A run-of-the-mill episode. Nothing special. There's one cool moment in the battle, when Superman has been blinded, and he throws a truck into the air towards the bad-guy. He dodges it. Then gives chase when Superman runs away. And he gets clobbered by the truck on it's way down. Just as Supes intended all the time. Nice.

Highlight? The Hardy Boys.
