Doctor Who. Season 28, Episode 1. This show is so much fun to watch. As I've mentioned before this particular fantasy show uses a bigger and broader canvas than others in the genre and this episode is no exception, as The Doctor and Rose head to the year Five Billion and Twenty Three and go up against some sinister nurses who have found a diabolical way to cure every disease. Meanwhile, a character from last season returns and takes over Rose's body. The pace is super fast and the ideas on screen are delightful from start to finish. Billie Piper gets to play a sexy version of Rose and is obviously having a lot of fun with it. A wonderful start to a new season.
