03:00 Voyager

Seinfeld. Season 8, Episode 22. A great ending to the season. All the storylines are laugh-worthy, but my favourite is the one where Kramer accidentally wins a Tony award and lies off it for a while, before... having to fire Raquel Welch from a broadway production. Crazy show.

Voyager. Season 6, Episode 25. An unengaging framing sequence focuses on Neelix and the Borg children as Voyager is plunged into darkness while on an important mission. They gather round the campfire, um, lamp and Neelix tells them... a ghost story. In the told-story we learn how Voyager came to be in it's current predicament. We witness an event, months earlier, when an alien came aboard the ship and threatened everyone's live by messing with the ship's systems. Most of this is rather boring, because we've seen it a hundred times before. The episode only really springs to live in the closing ten minutes when Janeway starts to communicate with the alien entity and set about getting her ship back. Janeway is fantastic here, as she is in most episodes, and there is a lot of pleasure to be had from watching her do her thing. Otherwise, a forgettable episode.
