Worst Week. Episode 2. "The Bird" Not as funny as the opener, but still very good. The situations are not as strained - which is good - and you have to feel for poor Sam. He does tend to make some bad decisions, but it's understandable and some of his bad luck is horrific. Highlights? The bird in his pocket giving the illusion of an erection, and the dog that keeps returning with dead bird that Sam has thrown away.

Prison Break

Prison Break. Season 4, Episode 6. "Blow Out" Team: Prison Break goes after one of their own and I cheered. The outcome was never in doubt, but it was still a strong episode. All of my friends are complaining about PB this year, but I'm more excited than ever. I love revamps, I guess.

And I love Alex, so making him the main character suits me down to the ground. William Fichtner outclasses everyone else in this show and this season the writers have given him opportunity after opportunity to dazzle us. Locked behind bars and trapped by the killer of his son, we get to see to the very core of Alex Mahone. Plus, this one highlights/strengthens the bond between Michael and Alex.

T-Bag is the the other highlight of the episode, with Gretchen's background story being a highlight as well. Ask me, and this series is firing on all cylinders. This is a much better run than this time last year. So, why does everyone else hate it?

Friday Night Lights. Season 2, Episode 2. "Bad Ideas" Very weak episode. The episode goes to extreme lengths to show us that Coach is unhappy, and Mrs. Coach is unhappy. Enough already. Fix this! Put them back together. A man should be with his family. Someone has to move to be with someone. And fast.

The show loses some points with me for making the guy who replaced Taylor at the High School into a total jerk. There's no dilemma here. He will go and Taylor with return. It's too easy. And I expect FNL to deliver better than this.

Other storylines hit the mark. Everything with Tyra and Landry is a highpoint.

Somebodies. Episode 1. "Reflection" I don't think I laughed once, but I was entertained by this little offering and completely charmed by the lead character. Hadjii has created/delivered a most compelling slacker and I'm very tempted to return to his world and see what else happens there.

Highlight? Prison Break (Alex)
