04.00 The Big Bang Theory
04.30 Buck Rogers
06.30 Reaper
07.30 Kyle XY
08.30 Supernatural

The Big Bang Theory. Season 2, Episode 9. "The White Asparagus Triangulation" Sheldon tries to 'help' Leonard in his new relationship.

Very funny. Sheldon is paired with Penny for several scenes, all hilarious, and spends the rest of the episode annoying Leonard and his new girlfriend. The other two are sidelined a bit, and Leslie is completely left out. Again. I thought she was being added to the cast full time. What gives?

Buck Rogers In The 25th Century. Episode 1. "Awakening" An astronaut is frozen for 504 years and awakes to find Earth at war with an evil Empire.

The story is silly, but Gil Gerard is good fun and Pamela Hensley and Erin Gray are two of the sexiest women to ever appear on TV. Princess Ardala is a surprisingly well crafted character. She's out to enslave the Earth, but her motives make her rather sympathetic and - just like Buck - we end up liking her and being glad she gets away in the end.

Reaper. Season 2, Episode 4. "The Favorite" Sam has to work with another son of The Devil.

Donavon Stinson gets several funny scenes and the show seems more like an ensemble show than ever before. Everyone has something important to do and it's usually very funny. Sam is still the main character, but he's not in every scene now and the cast are strong enough to carry the show even when Sam (and the show's premise) are no onscreen. Armie Hammer makes a great impression in his first episode.

Kyle XY. Season 3, Episode 6. "Welcome to Latnok" Kyle joins Latnok.

Superb. This should have been the season premier. For the first time this season, it feels as if the show is actually moving forward (not standing still) as Kyle joins the team at Latnok and - in the closing seconds - finally finds out about Jesse's feelings for him. They wasted too much time this season going nowhere. Finally, it feels as if the story is progressing again.

Supernatural. Season 4, Episode 1. "Lazarus Rising" Dean is back, but nobody understands how?

Clever, enjoyable season opener. With Dean dead I was expecting the show to focus on Sam and how he was coping. Wrong! We open with Dean rising from the grave and follow his journey of confusion until he is face to face with his brother again. Didn't expect that. Really pleased that they wrong footed me.

The ending was superb. I did not think they could come up with a strong, compelling reason for Dean's return. I was wrong there, too. Misha Collins made a fantastic debut and the new story arc (if that is, in fact, what it is) appears to be very interesting indeed.

Highlight? Kyle XY (Jesse tells Kyle she likes him)
