Oddball mixture of quirky characters and serious crimes. Disparate tones make for jarring viewing experience. And the various story threads were so different that, at times, it felt as I had accidentally switched channels during the show. I’m in favour of variety within an episode, yes, but surely there should be something (anything!) that acts as a way to link the various things that we are seeing together. Random jumping around is just frustrating. 5/10
