Conrad Pla, Alan Van Sprang, Nick Bateman. Another slick episode. There’s a solid murder mystery, and a great guest cast. The show looks fantastic (camera angles, colouring) and the pace is brisk, with constant shifts in locale and a regular cast that delivers story exposition with flair (and incredible chemistry) and makes every scene hugely enjoyable to watch.
And I love the subtle touches: Toby’s new girlfriend hearing him talk about his powers, Michelle getting outraged over a bad mother, Toby being in more of a leadership role this season, etc. Various moments that are over in a split-second, but mean a lot to the regular viewer who appreciates the bigger picture. It really is one of the very best shows on TV. 9/10
