Frances Lee McCain, Kenneth Tobey. It starts very strong, with a compelling mystery and Jim being dogged and heroic and clever (Let’s face it: if you were in trouble Jim Rockford is one of the first people you would want searching for you).
But the story takes a dark turn mid-way through and never quite gels afterwards, as focus shifts to a new character and her story/character arc.
Frankly: I never cared as much about her as I did for the poor guy that Rockford set out to help at the start. So the resolution fails to satisfy. And most of the dialogue about turning your life around feels forced and false.
