Eve Gordon, Josh Charles. Libby is still my favourite character, but episodes like this keep me liking Bill & Virginia as well. Despite everything they are doing to her. Both are shown here under pressure and - despite the success of the book - we can see that both are not having an easy time, they are not getting what they want. She wants a relationship with her grown daughter, he craves academic respect (particularly from the place he was fired). It keeps both human and likeable. But I still hope Libby leaves Bill. She deserves more. 10/10
