Sliders 040

Roger Daltrey.

  • Once again, execution ruins what could have been a great story.
  • The ideas are big and exciting, but the acting is frequently bad and some of the drama between the characters feels forced and unbelievable.
  • This is also the episode which takes the unnecessary decision to kill off one of the show’s main characters.
  • Some great performances here, particularly from John Rhys-Davies, but it all seems so pointless.
  • But when one overlooks the (many) flaws there is much to enjoy here: the main story is fundamentally good and the show’s status quo is changed in a few ways.
