Slow moving and unfunny. It’s starting to look like Fish doesn’t work as well without the rest of the BM gang. The character hasn’t changed, but it isn’t as funny to watch him spout sarcastic one-liners to this group of characters. In the parent show, his targets are a squad of male detectives: his equals. On this show, everyone he talks down is a kid. Or his wife. And he seems like likeable here, picking on those that are not on his level. It doesn’t matter than the kids are ‘streetwise’ or whatever, they are still young. The leaden pace and lack of jokes don’t help. 4/10
