This episode of Soap gets an enthusiastic 10/10 from me for the following reasons:
- It introduced the character of Detective Donahue played by John Byner who would be with the show for a 16-episode arc. Byner makes a great first impression: funny and likeable.
- This is the episode where Corinne finds out that she is pregnant. Five months pregnant, after only one month of marriage! And she wasn’t having sex!! It’s a compelling mystery and it evolves into one of the most daring storylines the show ever had.
- Two guest stars (Wendell Wright and Alex Henteloff) have a truly hilarious scene, as actors in a commercial being directed by Jody. It gets funnier and funnier the longer it goes on.
