Very strong opening scenes, a shocking crime and a heartless criminal are the strong points of this one. Being an Olinsky-centric episode is also a major plus. But there are two scenes that suck a lot of drama out, scenes where Olinsky is on the edge and looks liable to hurt/kill a criminal in cold blood and the problem is… we know he won’t. That’s just not a place this show goes. It often implies it will… but it doesn’t. So those scenes, here, work against the episode. 8/10
