Seinfeld. Season 8, Episode 17. Another one of the classics. This is the one where Jerry sends Lloyd Bridges to the hospital after (accidently) challenging him to a battle of strength. Well, not really. But that's kinda what happens. Bridges is hilarious. Across the board it's a great episode, but - curiously - the references to a movie called The English Patient serve to date the episode. Badly. I loved The English Patient. But it seems like it was ages ago when it was new. I wish they had made up a film and used that instead. Seinfeld has a long list of great made-up films that are mentioned from time to time. "Rochelle, Rochelle" is my favourite, with "Death Blow" running a close second.
