The Big Bang Theory. Episode 14. "The Nerdvana Annihilation" The guys buy a time machine. Not a real time machine (sadly) but a movie prop. A large one. Which causes problems for Penny, driving her to lash out at her neighbour's crazy hobbies. So Leonard decides to sell everything and grow up.
A delightful and funny episode. Leonard's reflections are easy to relate to.
Mission: Impossible. Episode 80. "The Controllers" Part Two finds Jim and the team in lots of trouble: a man they need to make the scam work has just been killed...
Fast-paced pick-up of the action from part one. On this show, the mission's either go spectacularly well or spectacularly wrong. This is one of the latter. As soon as Jim and Barney find the dead body (which would have made an even better cliff-hanger than the one that was used) Jim sits down with a pen and paper and tries to concoct a Plan B. This glimpse inside the workings of him mind is a rare treat.
Before it's all over Willy has managed to rescue the girl who was being tortured (in part one) and they all drive off in a big white van, while the bad guy is gunned down by his own army without ever knowing that he was the victim of a con.
Greek. Episode 19. "No Campus for Old Rules" Cappie must gave a speech to save the greek system, have the restrictions lifted and... get back some sports tickets.
One of the many joys of this show is the way they write the supposed bad guys: Evan, Rebecca, Dan Bowman... All of them are pretty nice, really, and easy to understand. And the Cappie/Evan relationship is well documented in this one. The ending, where Even stands up and continues Cappie's speech for him is wonderful. Stuff like this makes the characters (and the show) much more interesting.
NewsRadio. Season 3, Episode 3. "Massage Chair" Bill manipulates the staff into campaigning to buy him a massage chair, when they are upset about the lack of snacks in the break room.
Delightful. A classic. Watching Bill lead the gang into battle for something they don't want is very funny and there are many great scenes. One of the best occurs when Mr. James (my favourite character) over-acts in trying to convince the others that Dave has gotten tough with him over the issue of the snacks.
Highlight? Greek (Evan to the rescue)
