Jack Conley. Nothing really happened in this episode. No action, no story arc development. Nothing. 5/10

Bridget Regan . Best episode so far. Slow to start, but the first half does succeed in cementing the strong bond between Carter and Jarvis. Things pick up considerably in the second half and the fight scene is excellent. The murder of a minor regular character is shocking and surprisingly effective. It suddenly makes the show seem more interesting and narratively dangerous. 8/10

First half is quite slow and boring, but second half picks up considerably with some good action and a nice Carter/Jarvis scene. 6/10

James Frain, James Urbaniak. Unremarkable hour delivering exactly what you’d expect.
- Hayley Atwell is the best thing about it, she’s much better than the material.
- Script constantly reminds us that Carter is underestimated because she is a woman.
- There are allusions to various bigger things in the Marvel Universe.
- The fight scenes are slick, fast and unrealistic.
- Lots of references to Captain America.
And on and on. Hopefully episode two will be less predictable, as the show is likeable and I’d love to find a reason to keep watching. 6/10
