2014 BEST TV COMEDY #1 -> Enlisted

- There’s really nothing here you haven’t seen before, but on this show it’s hilarious and heartfelt.
- Chris Lowell and Parker Young are a comedy dream team.
- Fast-paced, gag-filled.
- Relentlessly delightful and funny no matter which story/character has the spotlight.
- It’s a comedy, but the stories have heart and frequently pack a genuine emotional punch when they end.

Funny (with some really brilliant gags) but mainly this is a serious and emotional final episode. Powerful. Wonderful. 10/10
Enlisted 1.11
Obba Babatundé. Genuinely thought-provoking as well as hilarious. And heartfelt. Both Keith David and Angelique Cabral really get a chance to shine in this episode. 10/10
Enlisted 1.12
Brandon Routh. Hysterically funny at times, with two stories driven by romantic entanglements. Great endings to both storylines. Show has an amazing ability to make you feel. 10/10

Brandon Routh. Slow to get started, but the second half is some ride. Funny and sweet. Plus there’s a nifty twist (concerning the nature of the bet). 9/10

Prank War. Relentless gags from start to finish. Some of them very clever, and all of them delightful. A lot of the humour is down to clearly defined characters. And the cast are wonderful.
My favourite joke is probably the mustache one. Chris Lowell's reaction is watching over and over and over. 9/10

Stacy Keach! Dean Stockwell! Barry Bostwick! Sheer perfection. All TV should be this good. It’s funny, but the stories have heart and pack a genuine emotional punch at the end. The cast are simply wonderful and the guests deliver great performances. This is an episode to treasure. 10/10

Another winner! Fast-paced and hilariously funny. Ends on a serious note, and makes it work. This show is in the same ballpark as Community and Happy Endings. 10/10
