Homeland 3.3

Erik Dellums. Way more interesting than 3.1 and 3.2 but in a ‘WTF are they doing?’ kind of way… Best thing about the episode was Erik Dellums. But, honestly, doesn’t it now seem like this show is flailing about? With no direction… 5/10

Homeland 3.2

Probably the worst episode so far, with nothing happening. The show really seems to hate women, too. Dana is written as constantly hating her mother, behaving in reaction to what her father did, and only finding a reason to live once she gets a boy to like her! This is Dana in a nutshell.

As for Carrie, this episode shows her as a helpless victim. Sure, the performances are good but the show needs to be better than this. 4/10

Homeland 3.1

Tin Man. Great performances, but the script hits predictable beats and thinks it’s clever as it does so. It’s not. Homeland has become a decidedly average show with delusions of grandeur. 7/10
