Press Gang 1.10

A very witty script, certainly, but a fairly ordinary a-story. The sort of tale you would expect from a childrens drama. The b-story about the birds is oddly underdeveloped, too. Were scenes edited out, I wonder, due to running time? 8/10

Press Gang 1.9

David Collings. Establishes a genuinely insurmountable obstacle for Lynda. And then cleverly finds a way around it. Beautiful. 10/10

Press Gang 1.8

Takes a while to get going, and the Kenny-leaves-the-paper aspect is unnecessary, but the second half is clever and satisfying. 8/10

Press Gang 1.7

Sadie Frost . A genuine mystery, with a solid hook to get the ball rolling. Plus some great comedy. And a cliffhanger. 10/10
