The Rockford Files 5.2
Rita Moreno, Robert Loggia. A compelling mystery gives way to a genuinely fresh story idea, and a terrific performance from the always-amazing Abe Vigoda. Good to see Rita Capkovic back on the show, a friend that Jim actually appears to like! 8/10

The Rockford Files 4.19
Asylum. Fast-paced good story with great cast and a real sense of jeopardy.
- The episode hits the ground running. There is no padding. Right from the first shot to the last this is story all the way. Enough material here for a two-hour episode.
- The change of location at the mid-point really lifts the episode up to another level. Making an already good story, very exciting and thrilling.
- The guest cast are some of the best character actors working on TV. Every new face is a delight.
- The car chase at the end is one of the best we’ve seen on The Rockford Files.
- This is one where the viewer is genuinely wondering: How will Jim get out of this?
One of the best-ever episodes 10/10
