Relentless action from start to finish, but cleverly structured to maintain excitement and momentum. The big guns (Cap, IM and Thor) don’t appear until late in the episode. And when they do enter the fray it amps up the episode exponentially. You really feel that this is a season finale and that the show has been building to this from the very start. Superb! 10/10

The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes # 025
Good mix of story and action, with the team members separated and a season-long story arc coming to fruition. 9/10
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes # 024
Most of it is really just a slugfest, but in the final third a good story starts to emerge and the ending is solid. 8/10
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes # 023
Ultron, part 2. Less depth than previous episode, but just as much action. Ultron makes a seemingly unstoppable foe. 9/10
The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes # 021
Ultron. Ant Man’s pacifist nature comes to the fore, giving the series unexpected gravitas, in the form of his resignation and some brief debates between the team members about the violence of the lives they lead. Shortly before they are all brutally taken down in an action-packed, dark and clever episode. One of the show’s best so far. 10/10

Black Widow returns. Action-packed, with some weak dialogue here and there that ruins enjoyment somewhat. But it also has several very cool, very exciting moments along the way. So, it all balances out to make an enjoyable half-hour. 7/10
