Penny Peyser, Dick Gautier.
- Easily the best episode so far. This one has everything you’d from a s1 HB mystery.
- Joe sings. A lot.
- The guest stars get a lot of screentime to themselves, and they are all top notch. Particularly Peyser.
- The story is reasonably complex, and generates genuine mystery.
- It may have a few flaws (like the sequence where Frank is trapped in the VW), but it does several things perfectly (like the boys working so well with the police captain) and is thus hugely enjoyable.
- I had a lot of fun watching this. 9/10
