Rising Damp. Season 3, Episode 7. "Suddenly at Home" A tenant dies.

Although it relies on the creation of a totally new character to drive the story (because he's a hypochondriac) this is one of the best and funniest episodes of Rising Damp. It opens with Rigsby and Alan in conversation and their interactions (the cynic and the ingénue) dominate most of the scenes. They are, in many ways, the heart and soul of Rising Damp and this is their last episode together, as Richard Beckinsale left the series after this season.

WKRP In Cincinnati. Episode 74. "Who's On First?" Everybody is lying about who they are.

The funniest and cleverest episode of WKRP. Many episodes of this show play like a drama series with funny lines, but this is an out-and-out screwball comedy. Herb is still in hospital (from the previous episode) so Jennifer and Mr. Carlson fill in for him. When they find out that he is taking illegal kickbacks they opt to play along, to keep the status quo, and Mr. Carlson must pretend to be Herb. Meanwhile, in a totally unrelated plotline, Johnny is hiding from a bookie because he owes him a lot of money. When everyone converges on the station, and Jennifer convinces Les to pretend to be Mr. Carlson, the results are truly hilarious.

Jason Of Star Command. Episode 3. "Escape from Dragos" Jason (almost) escapes.

Unlike the first two chapters, which were fast-paced and very entertaining, this one is rather tedious. Jason and The Commander escape from Dragos, which translates as lots and lots of running down corridors. Meanwhile Nicole leaves Star Command to get a closer look at the Dragos ship, which translates as lots and lots of FX shots of her ship flying.

There are a few other things happening, too, but nothing very exciting.

Nicole does a great job of filling her tight-fitting space-suit, however, and that is rather exciting.

Highlight? WKRP (very funny)
