07.00 Rules Of Engagement

Rules Of Engagement. Season 3, Episode 11. "May Divorce Be with You" Russell dates a girl with mob connections, and Audrey thinks the divorced guy staying with her and Jeff has just hit on her...

Mixed bag. The Russell storyline generates no laughs, Adam and Jennifer are ignored, and the Audrey storyline is very, very funny.

Megyn Price

Megyn Price pretty much carries the episode. She's funny and the plot given to Audrey is pretty good. I'm usually wary of sit-coms where the episode is driven by the guest character, but this one works pretty well because (despite the presence of a subdued, and still funny, Tony Hale) the episode is still really about Audrey. She fixed him up with his wife, so she feels guilty about he divorce and she invites him to stay and she had to deal with his supposed pass at her. Then, when Jeff proves that this never happened, it is she who must deal with that, too. Price was wonderful in the final ten minutes and her chemistry with Patrick Warburton added real zing to all the gags. They are one of TV best couples.

The Russell storyline (he starts to act like a Jersey mobster) was really stupid and generated no laughs. Awful. Awful. Awful.

Alexis Krause

Alexis Krause was hot, however, as his girlfriend and it's always great to see Louis Mandylor from the first season of Martial Law.

Overall, a mixed bag of an episode.
