12.00 Night Court
Night Court. Season 2, Episode 1. The story of "The Nun" who falls in love with Harry.
A silly story to get the second season off to a start. A nun falls in love with Harry (of course) and leaves her life/vows behind her.
It's a bit like the Rock Star episode from Season One. Silly. With a few laughs. Having Dinah Manoff play the nun is a huge plus. Gorgeous and very funny, Manoff was a standout on Soap and Empty Nest and adds a lot to the story.
Another plus here is John Larroquette playing Dan as a lecherous oaf for the first time. Without doubt he gets all the big laughs in the episode, the best being the moment where he hits on the nun, realises his error and drops to his knees in front of her. Priceless.
