06.30 Doctor Who
07.30 Legend Of The Seeker
08.30 Supernatural
01.30 Good Morning Miami
Doctor Who. Season 29, Episode 1. "Smith and Jones" Hospital. Moon.
What a cool story. Only on Doctor Who. There's a hospital, you see, and it vanishes. Only to reappear on the moon. Where the staff and patients must contend with alien marauders.
Great fun.
And Freema Agyeman makes a great first impression as the new companion.
Legend Of The Seeker. Episode 12. "Home" Clip-show.
A clip-show! Aw, crap.
To be fair, the tried to create a story around the clips but... it's just boring seeing all the same scenes again that we saw already this season.
Supernatural. Season 4, Episode 19. "Jump The Shark" The third brother.
Once again, the story-of-the-week is mostly about how the brothers react to things (even when the story is as game-changing as this one).
Jake Abel is well cast and - over the hour - the viewer comes to like him (much as Sam and Dean to).
The twists and turns in the final minutes were... great. I saw none of them coming. Great episode.
Good Morning Miami. Episode 22. "One Flu Over The Cuckold's Nest"
A solid season finale, that makes great use of the backstory on the four main characters. It's a little convoluted, sure, but it works. Jake loves Dylan, but Penny loves Jake and he takes advantage of that. But, things come to a head in a few surprising ways...
Highlight? Doctor Who (only on Doctor Who)
