05.00 It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
05.30 NCIS
06.30 Hung
07.30 Glee
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Season 4, Episode 2. "The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis" The plan is to buy gas, hoard it, and sell it when the price goes up.
Strong episode. Two good plots, both funny, and a lot of laughs coming from the characters themselves and how the interact.
Biggest laughs? Anything to do with the guy whose car the gang keep smashing into at various times. The final scene where we are watching him sitting watching golf on tv (while we wait for the huge explosion that we know is coming) is some of the funniest and best stuff the show has ever done.
NCIS. Season 5, Episode 14. "Internal Affairs" Gibbs' team is under investigation.
Nice change-of-pace episode, which puts the team on the defensive and brings conclusion to a couple of plots from last season.
The stuff with Jenny was okay, but not very exciting because I don't like that character very much, while the stuff with Tony was fantastic, because I really like Tony and was very invested in that love story arc from Season 4.
Hung. Episode 1. "Hung" Teacher who can't pay his bills becomes a prostitute.
Amusing and odd. He's not the most likable hero I've ever encountered in a tv show, but his story is interesting. There are some mild amusing moments here and there, but I'd hardly call the show much of a comedy.
Will I watch any more? Undecided.
Glee. Episode 1. "Pilot" Teacher tries to keep the glee club alive, but means both fair and foul.
The music is nice, if you like energetic cover versions, but the story and characters are lifted from 100 other shows/movies and it was unbearable to sit through.
Highlight? It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (funny)
