The Big Bang Theory. Season 3, Episode 2. "The Jiminy Conjecture" Cricket.

The Sheldon plotline yields more laughs than the Leonard one. Fact is: I like Leonard and Penny and want them to be together but - as the rule - their romance doesn't generate many stories/laughs on it's own. Penny works best when she's contrasted with the others.

My advice? Make them a couple and move on. Fast! Whether they are together or not has little or no impact on 85% of the episodes, so - be nice to them/us - just get it over with and the show will be better for it.

Doctor Who. Season 29, Episode 2. "The Shakespeare Code" The Doctor teams up with William Shakespeare to defeat some witches!

Classic Doctor Who. Written on a large canvas and carried off with great aplomb. Martha is only new on the scene, but I totally accept her and don't miss Rose one little bit.

Full praise to the show, however, for showing us that The Doctor does miss Rose. A lot.

Dean Lennox Kelly makes a great Shakespeare and I loved the ending of the story, and the way they used words to defeat the bad guys. What a bloody clever story idea!

Legend Of The Seeker. Episode 15. "Conversion" Richard vs. Darken Rahl!

Wow. Fast-paced plotting at it's best. Once again, the show delivers a story that could have filled two hours. Chase, and the others, set out to rescue his family (a story continued from the previous episode). Barely a quarter of the story is out of the way and the mission has been completed, thus opening the door to the real story of the episode.

I love the fast-pacing on this show, and the abundance of story ever week.

Darken Rahl is emerging as a powerful villain and I'm so hooked by the romance between Richard and Kahlan.

Supernatural. Season 4, Episode 22. "Lucifer Rising" The final seal...

A superb conclusion to a superb season, and the expert continuation of a storyline that has been building for four years. The flashbacks to the early seventies and the revelations therein give a great underscore to the entire series, and add greater depth and meaning to the events of the pilot and everything we've learned about Sam's background up to the this point.

It's a thrilling episode full of twists and two characters does very surprising things, revealing their true colours in shocking fashion. As usual for this show, this was handled with great storytelling skill and... really blew me away.

Then there is the cliffhanger...

Wow. The world is falling apart around our heroes and the show fades away to the closing credits? Bastards. Those wonderful, wonderful bastards.

Roll on Season Five!

Parks And Recreation. Season 2, Episode 3. "Beauty Pageant"

The funniest episode so far. Lots of laugh out loud moments, mostly just from watching Tom and Leslie reaction to each other and the situation that they find themselves in. Both are hilarious and a beauty pageant is an ideal place to let both of them run riot.

Aubrey Plaza is getting more screen time this season and her character is proving to be amusing, and I'm really loving newest recurring character Dave (Louis C.K.) who is a much better match for Leslie than Mark and promises much more comedy material.

Highlight? Supernatural (superb)
