07.00 The Big Bang Theory
07.30 Legend Of The Seeker
11.30 Arrested Development
12.00 Parks And Recreation
The Big Bang Theory. Season 3, Episode 4. "The Pirate Solution" Raj might have to return to India.
Kunal Nayyar carries the a-plot as Raj faces a return to India, unless he can find a new job. Lots of great scenes for him, most of them with Sheldon as he tries to work with/for his friend.
The show continues (unwisely, I feel) to the make the Leonard-Penny pairing a subject of stories as they try to find some alone-time away from Howard. I don't like the idea, in general, but I will admit that it was funny here.
Episode highlight, though: the montage to the Rocky music. Instant classic. Wow.
Legend Of The Seeker. Episode 16. "Bloodline" Richard's mother and sister.
Another superb episode, with enough story for two hours. Richard's mother appears. And, before he can speak with her, dies. That shocked me, but - at least - he gains a sister before the closing credits.
Jessica Marais returns, and Denna continues to be one of the best characters on the show.
Arrested Development. Season 3, Episode 11. "Family Ties" Justine Bateman
Another high-point in the history of AD: the casting of Justine Bateman. Not only that, but casting her as someone with romantic tension with Michael. "That is weird on so many levels."
Parks And Recreation. Season 2, Episode 5. "Sister City" The group from Venezuela.
Awful. Not funny. A group shows up, insults everyone and everything relentlessly for the whole episode and it all ends with an awful pro-American bit.
Awful. Worst episode so far.
Highlight? The Big Bang Theory (Rocky montage)
