Community. Episode 12. "Comparative Religion" The Christmas Episode.

I love Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown). In this episode she tries to bully, blackmail, guilt and otherwise force everyone into doing Christmas her way. And I loved it. It was pitch perfect. And by casting Christmas celebrations in such an unflattering light, it was actually a really great Christmas episode.

Speaking of pitch perfect... Anthony Michael Hall was a joy to watch as the real bully of the piece.

Defying Gravity. Episode 11. "Solitary" Flashbacks to isolation chambers.

I really loved the Jen storyline here. In the flashbacks she is dating Ted, and Rollie (who clearly adores her) is relegated to the sidelines. Jen has difficulty with the isolation chamber exercise and asks Ted to 'be there' for her, so she can get through it. And what happens? Ted doesn't show up, Rollie gives her some advice that helps her make it through, and she emerges from the chamber only interested in finding out where Ted is.

That's exactly what happens in real life, too.

Highlight? Defying Gravity (the Jen storyline)
