11.00 Community
11.30 Parks And Recreation
Community. Episode 19. "Beginner Pottery" Jeff is jealous.
Another winner. The pre-credits scenes alone were so good I watched them twice, and this was before I even realised Lee Majors was guest starring. Yay!
Tony Hale opens the episode with a hilarious scene, as an intense pottery teacher, and there's a truly epic sequence where a sailboat comes to Pierce's rescue but the show's strength continues to be it's ability tell very funny stories that touch the heart. It reminds me of Scrubs.
Parks And Recreation. Season 2, Episode 19. "Park Safety" Jerry is mugged.
Or is he? Predictable stuff. Jerry is a great character, but he works best when kept in the background. When there is one gag in an episode where everyone laughs at Jerry for no good reason I laugh too and find it funny. But the whole episode is devoted to it, I kinda feel that everyone is a bit mean and I feel guilty that I'm expected to laugh.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing soap opera love story: the show is turning Ann into an unsympathetic character by having her show an interest in Andy again. I mean Mark is a nice guy, and April is adorable. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving the story but when it's over am I going to hate Ann?
