Damages. Season 3, Episode 10. "Tell Me I'm Not Racist"
An episode about family.
Ellen starts off trying to help a member of her family, but comes to realise she may not even be a part of that family. And, in a very cool scene, tells her lying sister where to take a jump.
Leonard Winstone must deal with an unwelcome visit from a member of his real family, while trying to protect his bond with his created family.
Tom is weighed down by commitments to his family.
Tessa and Joe acknowledge that they are family. Then, thanks to Tom, Tessa comes to realise that this new family of hers had a part in the death of her one true family member: her mother.
Damages. Season 3, Episode 11. "All That Crap About Your Family"
This episode ended with an incredibly cold-blooded murder. Amazing. To think: when this season started I thought of the Tobin family as somehow 'softer' than the bad guys of previous seasons. And here they are ordering hits on innocent young girls.
Also when the season started, I couldn't understand what tension could split Tom and Patti but I see it now.
Damages. Season 3, Episode 12. "You Were His Little Monkey"
I'm suspicious, because they let me down last season, but this season appears to be shaping up for a great finish.
Molly Dodd. Episode 5. "Here's Why It's Not Good to Stare at People in Restaurants"
A change-of-pace episode. Very episodic, and very different to the first four. Molly's relationship with her ex-husband dominated the first story arc. This episode is about her relationship with her father.
