Under The Dome 1.8

Final Battle For Water. Episodes like this bode well for the long-term future of the series. Because: (1) the story seems organic to the situation the characters are in, not forced upon the series like the missile strike episode, (2) the scenes devoted to the Dome mythology are kept to a minimum of screen-time, just enough to keep us intrigued, but not so much as to over-power the episode, (3) the interpersonal drama scenes are kept to a minimum also, (4) we can see that Barbie is an action hero when he has to be, but he’s also very smart which makes him a much more interesting leading character, (5) there is plenty of action, and (6) the show has a couple of interesting anti-heroes. So, eh, it all bodes well for a long, enjoyable run. 10/10
