Doctor Who 30.13

Davros. A slow-moving mixture of inspired ideas and self-indulgent moments. It’s a very basic story, really, and there’s no need for all the characters or for the extra time used to tell it. At least, unlike part one, pretty much everyone has something to do. And most of it is great fun. But sometimes it takes way too long to get through a scene, for no reason other than the fact that they want to keep everyone on screen for as long as possible. Truthfully, only Donna and Martha had important stuff to do. The coolest aspect was the second Doctor, that was cool. And the worst aspect of it was Donna’s ultimate fate. Not cool. Not impressed with that, at all. (I hope we see Donna again and that that destiny is changed.) I did quite like the final scene with Rose and her Doctor. But, one has to ask… was it really necessary? 8/10
