Sean Maher. As usual, the case-of-the-week (though good) is the least interesting aspect of the episode. Most of the fun here comes from watching everyone except Laurel embrace the charismatic recurring character that the audience knows is evil. Even the show’s titular hero is on his side! It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out, it might just make Laurel a more interesting and more likeable character.
Action-wise this episode has some thrilling sequences dotted about, and some nice character-driven moments (particularly any scene with Felicity).
This episode was a blast! 10/10
