James Mackay. It’s good to see the show back to having a case/baddie-of-the-week and taking steps to expand the show’s universe, with new recurring characters. There were some good scenes here (like John training the young girl) but a lot of it felt quite bland: a group of people we don’t know very well fighting another group of people we don’t know very well, all being monitored by a third group of people we don’t know very well. I was pleased to see they were giving Russell something to do, but it turned out he was only cannon fodder. Oh well. 7/10
