The Rockford Files 4.17

Rebecca Balding, Rick Springfield . It’s a nifty idea for a story, but it gives Jim a tenuous link to the events that follow. The viewer is perplexed from the start as to why he would stick around to help an obvious jerk like Rockfelt (great performance from John Pleshette ). It was, however, interesting, to see Carol stand by her man. And the motivation of the gangster (revealed in the final scenes) was marvelous. 7/10
