Robert Urquhart . Works as a stand-alone story, and a fascinating one at that. Peopled by deeply unpleasant characters who are relentlessly horrible to Billy. He, in turn, takes it well and says very little. And what little does say yields the best lines of the episode (the stuff about never before meeting such unhappy people). Despite being - essentially - a stand-alone story, this is the first episode of the series to give us a lot of vital information on the main storyline. Basically, this is the episode where we learn about Billy’s father for the first time. And an interesting person he seems to have been. The show gets better and better. 10/10
