- One of the darkest episodes so far. Impotence! Alcoholism! And no easy answers. Bleak stuff.
- In terms of ongoing stories, everything played out in very predictable fashion. Sometimes that is not a problem, but in this case: there was no sparkle to proceedings as we watched Austin & Flo, Lester & Barbara, Libby & Robert, Bill & Frank, or Virginia & Dr. Madden. Some times it was disappointingly by-the-numbers.
