While the central Leonard/Sheldon story is good, it does seem like a rehash of stuff we’ve seen before. This time, at least, it does appear that Sheldon has some genuine empathy for his friend (at least in the first half of the episode). The storyline about the food that Howard’s mom made was much better. It didn’t have as many laughs as the main plot, but it did make you feel something for the characters. 7/10
