- Kristen Schaal really shines in this episode, when we get to see something we normally never see: Carol completely on her own. Much as I love seeing Phil and Carol together as a happy couple, I hope the show finds a way to isolate Schaal again for an episode. She is so damn good.
- This episode also has a classic and well-executed comedy dilemma for Phil when he finds the note but doesn’t tell her. Funny.
